Dr. Hunter Peterson, NMD

aBOUT dR. hUNTER

Dr. Hunter is a board-certified Naturopathic physician, graduating with honors from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. A native of Spokane, Washington, he received his undergraduate training at Pomona College in Claremont, California, where he studied history and biology.

Dr. Hunter embraces a view of health in which all aspects of a person are inextricably linked in a dynamic relationship. This model is echoed throughout the natural world and is what drew him to natural medicine. With this guiding philosophy, Dr. Hunter's treatments acknowledge the dynamic interplay between one's physical, biochemical, mental/emotional, and spiritual state of being in addressing the underlying causes of disease, leading to meaningful and lasting resolution.

My Philosophy

As a clinician, Dr. Hunter is a compassionate listener who seeks to understand each person's unique experiences and health story in helping him form a healing partnership with his patients on a deep level. He believes his main duty as doctor is to teach and empower, creating a space for patients to gather the insights and tools they need to establish well-being
