Dr. Rob Seiberlich, NMD
Philosophy
Dr. Rob embraces a “from the ground up” approach to healthcare, naming his first practice after the principle that resonated most deeply with him in his naturopathic training: the foundations of health. He believes that true healing begins when we nourish the body, mind, and spirit in harmony—not only with nature but also with our own unique individuality.
A firm believer in the naturopathic principle of docere—the Latin root of “doctor,” meaning teacher—Dr. Rob maintains that if you didn’t learn something during your visit, then you didn’t truly see a doctor.

Personal History
Dr. Rob is originally from North Pole, AK, where he spent his formative years hunting, fishing, learning about local plants, and running barefoot through the tundra. He later moved to Colorado and joined the Navy, training as a nuclear reactor operator and serving on an aircraft carrier that assisted Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom from 2005 to 2009.
With a deep appreciation for science, he pursued a degree in biology after his military service, which ultimately led to his love of natural medicine. In 2021, Dr. Rob moved to Idaho and began serving the community as a natural family care physician in the Sandpoint area.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Rob stays active with yoga, hiking, and weight training. He enjoys foraging for herbs to use in his practice, plays two musical instruments, writes poetry, creates art, and has even taught dance. He is deeply passionate about community outreach, speaking engagements, and health education.
