Alli Peterson, Nutrition advisor

Alli’s passion for naturopathic medicine and holistic living began in 2010 with her employment at the National University of Natural Medicine. Through personal exploration and her work at the University, she came to know and understand the deep power that personalized nutrition has to create optimal health and well-being. Her nutrition knowledge is coupled with a deep love of cooking and baking utilizing whole foods and an arsenal of healing ingredients.

  • With a diploma in Diet and Nutritional Advising, Alli is well-versed in a variety of nutritional strategies to help individuals address their health conditions with food as medicine. Working with a deep vault of delicious, healthy recipes alongside her enthusiastic, motivational approach, Alli derives great joy in assisting the patients of Coeur d’Alene Healing Arts in transforming deep-seated behavioral patterns and paving the way for healthy lifestyle changes. She is deeply honored to be an advocate and resource for the patients of Coeur d’ Alene Healing Arts.

When not engaged with patients, Alli enjoys teaching fitness classes, acting in local theater productions, going on long neighborhood podcast walks, spending time at the lake with her family, and experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen.

Dr. David campbell, DSOM, EAMP, LAC

Dr. David Campbell is passionate about natural medicine and holistic healing. He has been pursuing his interests in biology, natural health, and the science of consciousness for decades, and he enjoys applying his depth of understanding to his practice of Holistic Chinese Medicine. Dr. Campbell earned his Doctorate of Science in Oriental Medicine (DSOM) at the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM.edu). David was drawn to practicing acupuncture and East Asian Medicine because of the transformative experiences that he has had as a patient, and he is inspired by the powerful effectiveness of these ancient healing practices on a regular basis.

  • Dr. Campbell enjoys personalizing care for each unique patient, and he strives to offer the best support for healing, personal growth, and self-empowerment. Dr. Campbell integrates manual therapies to expand the impact of treatments, as he is trained in Shiatsu, Sotai, CranioSacral, Cupping, Gua Sha, and Yin Tuina. He is happy to release musculoskeletal pain with orthopedic acupuncture (dry needling) as well as help resolve issues of body, mind, and spirit through 氣 Qì focused treatments. Dr. Campbell is comfortable treating chronic disease with 蠱症 Gǔ Syndrome herbal methods that he learned from Dr. Heiner Fruehauf, PhD, LAc, and he finds that such patients often respond well to the subtler techniques of Japanese acupuncture and moxibustion that he learned from Dr. Bob Quinn, DAOM, LAc.

In his practice of Holistic Chinese Medicine, Dr. Campbell integrates acupuncture, herbal medicine, diet, lifestyle, and self-care techniques to form a comprehensive process of healing for each patient. He will often integrate diverse modalities, such as sound therapy, cold laser therapy, moxibustion, and essential oils into his acupuncture treatments. He also provides approachable steps for you to empower your personal healing between treatments to build on the progress made in each session. David looks forward to meeting with you and helping you to live with greater harmony and vitality.
